Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 21, 2026

CalcSide is committed to making its calculators and content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure on every page.
  • Every form field in our calculators and converters has a programmatically associated label.
  • Full keyboard operability, including a "Skip to content" link and keyboard-accessible menus.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Color contrast that meets the WCAG AA threshold, plus a dark mode.
  • Responsive layouts that support zoom and reflow on any screen size.
  • Descriptive labels for icon-only controls (e.g. language and theme switches).

Conformance status

CalcSide substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to test and improve the site. We do notuse third-party accessibility "overlay" widgets, which can interfere with assistive technologies; instead we build accessibility directly into the site.
