How It Works

The calculator converts your total time into seconds and divides it by the distance to find your pace — the time it takes to cover one kilometer and one mile. It also flips the calculation to express the same effort as speed in km/h and mph. Because it reports both pace and speed in metric and imperial units at once, you can plan training and predict race finish times whatever system you train in.

What is a good running pace?
