How It Works

The calculator multiplies length by width to get the area of one rectangular space, then multiplies by the number of identical rooms or areas so you can total a whole project at once. It converts the result to square meters using the standard factor, and if you enter a price per square foot it multiplies through to estimate material or flooring cost. For L-shaped or irregular spaces, the reliable approach is to split them into rectangles, calculate each, and add the totals.
