How It Works

The calculator subtracts the current moment from your target date and expresses the gap as days, weeks, hours, and a months-and-days breakdown so you can see the countdown at whatever scale suits the event. Because it measures from the present time, the hours figure reflects the real time left in the day, not just whole dates. If the date you enter has already passed, the result turns negative and is labelled "ago," letting the tool double as a simple time-since counter.
