How It Works

The calculator divides the points you earned by the total available and multiplies by 100 to get your percentage score. It then maps that percentage onto the standard US letter-grade scale and the matching GPA points, so a single entry tells you the percentage, the letter, and how the result would count toward a grade point average. The cutoffs follow the common scale where 93%+ is an A and 90%+ an A-, though some schools set their own thresholds.
